LO3 - Design Documents

Final Storyboard:

Final Narrative:

It is the middle ages, and disease and war sweeps the land. The king's lords are growing restless, and are dissatisfied with how the country is being run. Outlaws rule the countryside and warring lords hold court over shattered fort's and as is always the case, the peasants live in little comfort, and are either conscripted into their lords armies or killed for defiance. Aware the Britain is one of the most powerful countries in the world, and whoever is king is one of the most powerful men in the world as a result, the lords decide to rebel. This however is not the extent of their ambitions. Aware of the crown's vast resources, they plan to then take control of as many countries as possible with the ultimate goal of world domination and the creation of a new world order where they can ensure there will never be war again and true peace will reign. An otherwise noble goal marred by the action's to be taken in order to achieve it.

Calling their vassals, the lord's amass an army and march to London with the intentions to take the capital, kill the king and wear the crown in order to bring peace to the country. They begin their march from their fortress in Manchester and recruit many extra soldier's along the way. Many royal strongholds are pillaged and taken over on the march down to London, and the rebel army grows significantly in size throughout the journey with many minor southern lords swearing fealty to the major northern lords. Their march is successful, and upon arriving at London, they have an army 50,000 strong. This is a force of a size unheard of for many years and word reaches the capital of the rebels and their large army. Having heard of the lords treachery, the king looks for aid from his loyal vassal's. The king had only enough time to summon the vassals closest to the capital, and as such, the royal army is only 20,000 strong. This angers the king, and in response, he hides in his castle, and gather provisions for a lengthy siege. Annoyed, the rebels build siege weapons in order to take the castle and kill the king. This is where the game open's, with the rebels about to storm the wall's and take the crown for themselves.
